 1940s, 1950s and 1960s       Bill Corley recently retired from his job as CEO of Community Health Network in Indianapolis.  He has already started a new job this year.  Pat and David Gregg now have four grandchildren.  In December, Bill Grim wisely aborted an attempt to climb Mount Washington as temperatures were well below zero and winds were clocked at 100 mph on the summit.  Fred Schoch serves as executive director of the annual Charles River Regatta rowing event.  Three undefeated lacrosse teams at the Gilman school were captained by Deerwood affiliated young men:  Dick Tucker (1947 captain), Charles Stout (1948 captain) and Hugh Young (1950 captain). 
  
1970s and 1980s    Palmer Bell and his wife, Anne, are expecting their first grandchild this year.  Bobby Biddle and Charlie McCleary live on the same street in Chicago.  Charlie wrote, “we get together to share Deerwood memories all the time.”  Tod Campbell enjoyed (and hosted) another winter weekend with Deerwood alumni on Squam.  Tod also serves on the Deerwood Foundation board. Matt Doris is a manager of media and technology for Apple and his brother, Shea Doris, is a trauma surgeon at Brown University.  Dan Goodyear lives in Huntington, VT and is a family practice doctor in Williston.  In addition to his day job, Lorne Smith runs lacrosse camps in the Bay area (lornesmithlacrosse.com) and his band, Guns for San Sebastian, has just released its second album, “Cannonball,” now available on iTunes.

1990s   Simon Bradwell is living in San Antonio, but will be moving back to the U.K. in the fall.  He and his wife are expecting their first child any day now.  Nat Cram recently moved to Portland, Maine where he took a job with Scott Simons Architects.  He is preparing for a triathlon this summer with his wife, Abigail.  Dave D’Angelo has been at sea for 90 days filming “Whale Wars Season 3.”  He says, “it’s going to be awesome.”  Gus Crothers is living in Boston and is a third year medical student at Tufts, now focusing on Pediatrics.  David Ghormley coaches the Concord Academy boys’ lacrosse team and was recently engaged to long time girlfriend, Courtney.  Richie Howe is now a chartered financial analyst with Eaton Vance in Boston.  Gus, Dave and Richie all visited camp together last summer.  Ed Griffiths reports: “I’m still doing the job I love, front line policing in London.”  In addition to teaching and coaching, Brooks Johnson has now taken on athletic director responsibilities at The Dublin School.  Harrison Lusty will graduate from Ithaca College this May.  Dave McCleary is working at Nuvera Fuel Cells, has graduate school plans for the fall, and hopes to work in another summer at Deerwood soon.  Will O’Toole played lacrosse at Tabor and Boulder, and is now working on TV shows for DreamWorks in California.  Brian Thomsen studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland last fall and is currently a junior at Lafayette College and is skiing on the ski team there. 

2000s      Carter Brown hopes to focus on environmental studies in college next year.  John Foster is a junior at DePaul University in Chicago.  He interned in commercial real estate and likes to travel as much as possible.  Melissa Jones works at the Tilton School, teaching chemistry and physics and coaching soccer and skiing.  Ross Perrot is at Northwood School in Lake Placid where he teaches Spanish and coaches soccer, skiing and lacrosse. Griffin Schumacher just returned from the Grand Prix swim meet in Austin, Texas where he placed 18th out of 247 swimmers in the 50-yard freestyle.  His new personal best time of 20.55 seconds qualifies him for the nationals this summer.  Tell White starred on the Berwick Academy basketball team that won the NEPSAC championship.
